When Song Xi and Yang Xinjia saw the room for planning the art residency project "apartment dreams come true", they saw many butterfly stickers (that was posted by young couples who had lived there) on the wall, then they had decide to rent the room.

I felt something deep with these butterfly stickers. They are the only aesthetic stuff in this room, then Song Xi and Yang Xinjia, artists who were join the project had kept these stickers carefully to the last day. Some of artists got inspiration from their aesthetics.

So for the last time of this project, over the three-month period of time, I posted butterflies everywhere with Song Xi and Yang Xinjia, beyond the unconscious framed, to convey more dreams for the next person who will rent this room.

 

地方から出てきた出稼ぎの工員が住む8平方メートルほどの小さなアパート。アーティスト宋兮・楊欣嘉が見つけた部屋には蝶々のシールが貼ってあった。きっと以前住んでいた人が貼っていったものだろう。

蝶々はベッドの脇に、無意識に区切られた四角い枠の中に貼られていた。

 

私は更に蝶々のシールを買い足して、部屋中に蝶々を飛ばし、部屋のドアの外にも貼った。

以前住んでいた彼らのささやかな夢はアーティストを通して増えていく。

この後また新しい工員が入って、蝶々に少しでも夢を馳せてくれるといい。
